Quality Assurance

BMC’s Quality Assurance(QA) team monitors and ensures that there is hospital-wide compliance with laws, policies and standards for quality of patient care at all times.The program introduces notions of QA into the diverse areas of operations that include-investigation reporting, discharge process, record keeping, credentialing, to name a few and extend to the challenging arena of medical practice by implementing ADR (adverse drug reaction) documentation, monitoring response to emergencies, conceptualizing Antibiotic Policy that includes prophylactic antibiotic use in surgery, infection control protocols, preoperative assessment, prevention of bedsore, conducting medical and death audits and CMEs for clinical care teams. Regular patients’ feedback reviews (weekly) and management review meetings (quarterly), pave the way for continual improvement.
